Shakira and Hard Rock: Celebrating strong women together in music!

In honor of International Women's Day on March 8, 2025, Hard Rock International and global superstar Shakira announce an exciting year-long partnership designed to empower and encourage women worldwide to tell their stories and unite through music. This initiative was launched by hardrock.com was launched and includes numerous events, including 1,000 women-led performances at Hard Rock Cafés, hotels and casinos worldwide. The aim is to raise awareness of the challenges women face while celebrating their achievements.

The Hard Rock Heals Foundation is also active as part of this initiative. She plans to raise funds throughout International Women's Month, with a portion of the proceeds going to the Pies Descalzos Foundation, a nonprofit owned by Shakira. This organization promotes the education and social development of girls in at-risk communities in Colombia. Shakira said: "I'm excited to partner with Hard Rock, an organization that empowers women through music. Together we can break down barriers and create a more inclusive world." In addition, part of the proceeds will also benefit local women's organizations that are active in the respective communities.
