Lüneburg City Conference: Education in Transition – Get involved now!
A unique event is coming! On Saturday, November 23rd, the eagerly awaited 3rd Lüneburg City Conference will take place under the motto “Education in Change”. Lüneburg's mayor Claudia Kalisch invites everyone interested to the central building of Leuphana University to discuss the latest developments in the education sector from 10 a.m. If you can't be there, you can conveniently follow the event via live stream on the city's YouTube channel: Click here!
The conference promises exciting keynote speeches from Lower Saxony's Minister of Education Julia Willie Hamburg and Prof. Dr. Marcus Pietsch from Leuphana University. After the lectures, the two experts will be available for a question and answer session. But that's not all! In four interactive workshops, participants can actively participate and contribute their ideas on topics such as the skilled labor situation in daycare centers, inclusive education, child-friendly all-day schools and cooperation with extracurricular educational institutions.
Invitation to network
The city conference is an important meeting point for representatives from politics, schools, kindergartens and extracurricular institutions. Mayor Kalisch emphasizes the need to join forces to overcome the challenges in the education sector. “Many framework conditions in the educational landscape are created at the state level,” she explains. “Our task is to implement them locally and to make the best possible use of all the scope for our educational offerings.” The Hanseatic city of Lüneburg relies on innovation and commitment, because the change in education affects us all - directly or indirectly!
