Two important construction projects, such as the construction of noise barriers by the railway and the fiber optic expansion for Nantenbach, will start in June 2025. “This will result in several construction sites in the local area, which will not go smoothly,” says Albert. These measures are intended to ensure the progressive expansion of the infrastructure, which, according to the mayor, will also be associated with increased costs for citizens.
Another point in Albert's review is the special honor for the elementary school and kindergarten. The employees were praised for their commitment to overcoming challenges. After 18 years as mayor, Albert will no longer stand in the local elections in March 2026, which makes the upcoming anniversary celebration all the more meaningful. “The anniversary celebration in 2025 will be a nice end to my term in office,” he explains, while pointing out the enthusiasm of the citizens and the creativity of the planning community.
