Knut is back! Celebrate the tradition of the Christmas tree!

The custom of the Knut Festival, during which Christmas trees are burned, is very popular in Thuringia. Numerous events will take place at various locations in eastern and southern Thuringia in the coming weeks. This tradition attracts many people and offers the opportunity to celebrate saying goodbye to the Christmas tree together.
