Raid in Mannheim: Police catch female duo from China!

On December 18, 2024, there was a significant police operation in Mannheim, Heidelberg and Rüsselsheim am Main, during which two women who worked in brothels disguised as massage parlors were arrested. The Chinese nationals, aged 49 and 55, are now in custody after appearing before a magistrate on Thursday. According to the Federal Police Inspectorate, which is investigating together with the Heidelberg public prosecutor's office, a cash amount of 29,000 euros was seized during searches in a total of five locations, including two massage parlors and three apartments. These figures reflect the result of a complex investigation that has been ongoing since February 2024 company-today.de reported.

Prostitution exposed

The investigation focused on the activities of three Chinese nationals: two men, aged 38 and 46, and a 49-year-old woman. These people are suspected of organizing prostitution offers and helping numerous other Chinese citizens without the necessary residence permits to work. For this extremely lucrative but illegal activity, premises, advertising and appointment organization were made available for a fee. Around 70 federal police forces were deployed to carry out the searches, which underlines the seriousness of the situation. This comes from the current blue light report from news.de out.

The investigation is ongoing and may lead to further legal action against the accused persons. The authorities are doing everything they can to determine the extent of the illegal activities and bring those responsible for them to justice. The arrests and the seizure of the cash are a clear step in the fight against human trafficking and illegal prostitution in Germany.
