Jazzit in Salzburg: Best jazz club in the world with an exciting program!

The Jazzit music club in Salzburg has managed to secure a place among the world's best jazz clubs. This award comes from the renowned US magazine DownBeat, which selects the best clubs worldwide. Loud crown Jazzit recorded over 24,000 visitors at 230 events last year, underlining the club's popularity. Managing director Jürgen Vonbank sees this recognition as confirmation of the committed work of his small team, which consists of only three permanent employees. Next season the club plans to welcome more international artists, including world-renowned saxophonist Kenny Garrett, who will perform in November.

In addition, Jazzit will continue to focus on promoting new talent in 2025 and especially on the appearance of more female artists. The up-and-coming high-flyer Enji is expected in the Mozart city on May 30th with her new album. Another highlight is the planned concert by the group Derya Yıldırım & Grup Şimşek on June 27th, which is known for its unique mix of Anatolian funk and soul. Furthermore, the popular Take The A-Train Festival, now in its eleventh year, will take place again and promises a selected program for jazz fans, such as Jazzite reported. The club therefore remains a central location for jazz lovers and actively supports the music culture in the region.
