In Graz, the two new stars of the dance spectacle “Dancing Stars 2025” celebrated their brilliant victory over sold-out dance workshops and a rousing public viewing. Patrick Seebauer and Kateryna Mizera overwhelmed the jury in the final round, consisting of well-known stars such as Maria Angelini-Santner and Bruce Darnell, and thus secured a ticket for the big ORF 1 dance event in March 2025. “It was so difficult not to talk about it and it’s still indescribable!” said Patrick, beaming, while Kateryna, visibly emotional, added: "I've been waiting for this day for a long time!" The two 26-year-old professional dancers are proud to have taken this important step in their careers and are enjoying the spotlight that the show now offers them.

The highlights of the final

In the exciting final round, Kateryna thrilled the audience with a show dance that took up the theme of “James Bond”, while Patrick scored with a performance to the classic “Grease”. On her triumph, Kateryna assured: "The casting was a great experience, even if the conditions were not so easy. But this was my dream and now I'm here!" The dancing duo looks curiously at the challenges ahead with their as yet unknown celebrity dance partners. Patrick expressed his desire for a motivated partner with whom he could share his enthusiasm for dancing: “It is important that there is trust so that we can do anything together!”

Neither Kateryna, who comes from Kiev and can look back on an impressive dance career, nor Patrick, who discovered his passion in Styria, are fazed by the excitement of the new challenge. Both clearly deserve the qualification to take part in “Dancing Stars” and bring a wealth of experience and dedication to the show. Kateryna, already known from previous amateur performances, and Patrick, an experienced dance teacher, are ready to shake up the stage. Their journey is just the beginning, and the anticipation for the upcoming dances and the challenges that come with them is palpable, as they also reported that they have great expectations: “No matter who I get, I'm looking forward to the challenge!” Patrick concluded.
