On Tuesday, January 14th, the Speyer section of the German Alpine Club, in collaboration with the adult education center, is hosting a lecture by Martin Engelmann in the small hall of the town hall at Obere Langgasse 33. The lecture is entitled “Sicily – Jewel in the Heart of the Mediterranean” and begins at 7 p.m. The event offers a live report in the form of a multi-vision show and presents impressive images of Palermo, the Madonie mountains, the active volcano Etna and the beaches of Cefalu and Taormina. The entrance fee is 8 euros and the entry time starts at 6:15 p.m., like that Rhine Palatinate reported.
Martin Engelmann is a renowned photographer and author from Innsbruck who has already given numerous live lectures. Another report about Engelmann's work in the GRENZGANG travel reports shows that he also gave a presentation about Sicily in the auditorium of the German Mining Museum Bochum on Tuesday, April 25, 2023. This event lasted about 2.5 hours and cost 19.50 euros, reduced price 14.50 euros and 5 euros for children.
