Sean “Diddy” Combs is on trial on serious charges. A former assistant who performs under the pseudonym “Mia” has accused the 55-year-old musician of sexual and physical abuse. The incidents are said to have occurred between 2009 and 2017, with the first incident taking place on Diddy's 40th birthday at the Plaza Hotel. “Mia” reports that Diddy called her into the kitchen after sending everyone else out of the room and initially gave her words of praise for her work. She was then given two vodka shots, which had a strong effect.

In a later incident, Diddy allegedly abused her while she was sleeping and told her to be quiet. “Mia” describes this experience as confusing, shameful and frightening. She also reports physical violence that Diddy allegedly used, throwing objects at her and even throwing her into a pool. She describes the work environment as chaotic and toxic, which led to permanent trauma that impaired her ability to work. Diddy denies all allegations and has pleaded not guilty.
