Vienna private clinic celebrates 30 years of medical excellence and growth!
The Vienna private clinic will celebrate its 30th anniversary in 2025 and is considered one of the leading medical facilities in Austria. Since it was taken over by a dedicated group of doctors in 1995, the clinic has established itself internationally. Dr. Walter Ebm, one of the co-founders, explains: “The Vienna private clinic has been the home of doctors for doctors for three decades.” This year the clinic will expand its infrastructure with an investment of 55 million euros, which includes the construction of six new operating rooms and additional intensive care capacity. This comprehensive expansion is supported by a modern architectural concept from Moser Architects that innovatively designs patient-centered care, the Vienna private clinic reported.
International recognition and quality standards
The clinic's services cover 30 specialist areas and it operates ten competence centers, with the oncology center being one of the most renowned in Central and Eastern Europe. Over 350 employees and more than 400 internationally recognized doctors guarantee high quality treatment. What is particularly noteworthy is that nine doctors from the Vienna Private Clinic are listed on the Stanford list of the best scientists in the world, which proves the clinic's excellent expertise, as the Vienna Private Clinic itself reports. Last year, over 12,000 patients were treated, including 30 percent from abroad, mainly from Eastern and Central Europe, underscoring the international demand for their medical services.
The Vienna private clinic is a sought-after contact point for patients from Serbia and the region who are looking for medical care. The clinic said that almost 100 new patients from Serbia were treated last year alone, which is due to the trust in its expertise. Prim. Dr. Walter Ebm emphasizes that it is not just the medical team that attracts people, but also the high quality of patient care. “Having a good clinic means having the right people on the team,” he explains, also highlighting the interdisciplinary collaboration that ensures patients receive the best possible service.
The clinic is aware that the challenge of recruiting medical staff is constantly increasing. To address this, it is open to hiring skilled workers from Serbia, even if language skills can be a barrier. With an innovative approach that, among other things, offers online consultations, the Vienna private clinic continues to position itself as one of the most attractive medical destinations in Europe.
