Landshut invests boldly: new logistics center despite the lull!

In the midst of the economic downturn, a Landshut company is taking a bold step: the Gerhard Mann company is investing around five million euros in a new logistics center at its location on Benzstrasse. Managing director Benedikt Forsthofer is convinced that this is the right decision. “I believe in the Lower Bavaria region and want to move forward courageously,” he explains. With strong partners at its side, including the 90-year-old owner who has already overcome other crises, the company shows that it acts decisively even in difficult times.

Optimism despite challenges

Forsthofer sees the current phase not only as a challenge, but also as an opportunity to improve company structures. “It sounds bizarre, but investing right now is good for us,” he says. With reduced inventories, the company is ready to reposition itself. The symbolic groundbreaking ceremony was celebrated on Tuesday morning, and the excavators immediately rolled in to advance the ambitious project. Forsthofer is firmly convinced that the investment will pay off when the economy picks up again.
