Dancing fun in a class of its own: Dancing Stars” start the new season!

The anticipation for the new season of “Dancing Stars” is huge! On Friday, March 21, 2025, at 8:15 p.m. the second live show on ORF 1 will finally start, in which the first decisions will be made. So that fans can immerse themselves even more intensively in the fascinating world of dancing, the ORF has put together an extensive backstage program. This ranges from the popular Radio Vienna Ball to special tours of the production facilities, dance workshops for the whole family and other exciting events, such as OTS reported.

A highlight is the Radio Vienna Ball on May 3rd, where the audience has the opportunity to dance like a “dancing star” themselves. From 8.30 p.m. the professional dancers will take the stage, followed by a dance party for all guests. An exclusive show performance from last season's winner, Missy May, is also expected. Tickets for this event will be available from March 21st. Dance workshops for every level

Dance enthusiasts can hone their skills in the “Dance Like a Star” workshops - an ideal opportunity to learn the basic steps of various dances under professional guidance. These workshops take place on Sundays through May 11 and feature a mix of ballroom and Latin American dances. A special highlight are the “Ladies Only” sessions, which offer women without a partner a chance to discover the joy of dancing. Participants can expect not only dance training, but also interesting insights into the popular successful format “Dancing Stars” and some refreshment during the events.
