Flute days in Lienz: Sounds from Romantic to Pop in the ballroom!

Lienz, Österreich - The flute days in Lienz , which take place from February 10th to 12th, promise an exciting event for flute lovers. Around 30 participants from East Tyrol, North Tyrol, South Tyrol and Upper Carinthia have registered for a three -day training course in the Landenmusikschule Lienzer Talboden. Under the direction of Kathrin Weinberger, the flutists will form an orchestra inside and present a varied final concert with pieces from romance to modern hits. The highlight of the program will be a concert evening with Walter Auer, the solo flutist of the Vienna Philharmonic, who will give special insights into the world of flute.

In addition, workshops is conveyed to a deeper knowledge. Topics such as the innovative pickup system Microcork as well as aspects of the material influence on the sound of the flute. Participants receives support Werner Tomasi, who addresses the art of even smaller flute repairs. Musical solo appearances by talented young musicians, including Anna-Lena Leitner and Maya Vierbauch, also round off the program.

This training is not only an opportunity to continue their education, but also an experience that the participants inspired: inspired inside and deepens their passion for the flute. The event takes place in a creative environment and aims to promote community and exchange among musicians.
