Flute days in Lienz: sounds from romantic to pop in the ballroom!

The Flute Days in Lienz, which will take place from February 10th to 12th, promise an exciting event for flute lovers. Around 30 participants from East Tyrol, North Tyrol, South Tyrol and Upper Carinthia registered for the three-day training course at the Lienzer Talboden State Music School. Under the direction of Kathrin Weinberger, the flautists will form an orchestra and present a varied final concert with pieces from romanticism to modern hits. The highlight of the program will be a concert evening with Walter Auer, the principal flutist of the Vienna Philharmonic, who will provide special insights into the world of the flute.

In addition, through Workshops provides in-depth knowledge. Topics such as the innovative MicroCork pickup system and aspects of the material's influence on the sound of the flute will occupy the participants. Participant Werner Tomasi receives support, who discusses the art of even minor flute repairs. Musical solo performances by talented young musicians, including Anna-Lena Leitner and Maya Vierbauch, also round off the program.

This training is not only an opportunity to further your musical education, but also an experience that inspires participants and deepens their passion for the flute. The event takes place in a creative environment and aims to promote community and exchange among musicians.
