On June 14, 2025, the traditional “Trooping the Color” parade will take place in honor of King Charles III. broadcast live on ORF 2, as [OTS] reports. The celebrations begin at 9:50 a.m. and last approximately four and a half hours. Before that, the preliminary program “Universum History: Charles III – From Outsider to King” will be broadcast from 9:05 a.m.
The annual event has marked the official birthday celebrations of the British monarchs for over 260 years. King Charles III is experiencing its third Trooping the Color celebration. Around 1,400 soldiers, 400 musicians and 200 horses will take part in the event, which traditionally runs from Buckingham Palace via “The Mall” to the “Horse Guards Parade”.
