On Sunday, the big mudzger parade finally took place in Absam after eight years break and the enthusiasm was overwhelming. After months of preparation, not only the participants cheered, but also the ten thousand spectators who experienced the spectacular move on the streets. New in the Matschger team are the young talents, such as eleven-year-old Tim Schwaiger, who proudly presented in a Zottler costume that they completed many rehearsals for this event to be optimally prepared.

The move is not only a festival of joy, but also an important custom to drive away the winter. Behind the scenes, the preparations required a great commitment of the Matschgerer, who have been the sole organizer since 1973.
