A special kind of spectacle awaits visitors to Lugner City: The famous American street artist and DJ Alec Monopoly will spray a huge graffiti portrait of the late builder Richard Lugner on the outer wall of the shopping center next Wednesday, February 26th. The work of art will be unveiled at 3 p.m., which is intended to be a homage to Lugner, according to Jacqueline Lugner, daughter of the legendary entrepreneur. “We are pleased to be able to offer all visitors a unique spectacle,” she said. Following the artistic performance, Monopoly will demonstrate his skills as a DJ on the main square of Lugner City at 6 p.m., combining his artistic and musical talents at the same time crown reported.

Guest of honor at the Vienna Opera Ball

On February 27th, Alec Monopoly will be a star guest at the 67th Vienna Opera Ball alongside Jacqueline Lugner in her box. His invitation to this glamorous event is not only a continuation of the Lugner family's traditionally generous invitations, but also a special tribute to Richard Lugner, who died in August 2024. In a conversation with the MyDistrict confirmed Jacqueline Lugner: “My father’s tradition will be continued.” During the event, a place in the box will be kept free for Richard Lugner to pay respect to him.
