The Women's Vorarlberg League, which is organized by the Austrian Football Association (ÖFB) and, due to its structure, is considered the third highest division in women's football, is very popular. In the current competition, six teams compete against each other, with each club playing two home and two away games. Historically, the league emerged from the women's state league in 1995/96, and the first state league in women's football was held in the 1972/73 season.
The current champion of the Women's Vorarlberg League is RW Rankweil, which is considered a record winner with a total of six titles. The championships in recent years have been won by different teams, but Alberschwende was also very successful in 2015, 2016, 2017 and 2019.
The next match day will decide whether Alberschwende can get the point needed to win the title or whether Leiblachtal can use the chance to secure their place at the top.
The upcoming games promise excitement and drama as the players fight for future success.
