Scandal at Linz school: Young people force classmates to have massages!
Five young people who were once students at a private high school in Linz are standing before the Linz regional court on charges of coercion. The trial begins on January 24th and the 16 and 17 year olds face up to six months in prison. During a project week in Italy, the young people are said to have dragged a classmate into a room, locked her up and forced her to massage her, like that Volksblatt reported. Two of the boys are also accused of making dangerous threats. Despite the serious allegations, the young people say that everything happened on a voluntary basis. But a surveillance video contradicts these statements and is intended to document the incident.
After the incident, the affected student confided in teachers, which led to immediate consequences. The alleged perpetrators had to return early from the trip and the school administration immediately suspended four of those involved. Since this school year, all affected young people have been attending other schools in Upper Austria, such as ORF reported. The legal process will now clarify the next steps and possibly also examine the credibility of the young people's statements based on the available evidence.
