In the Alpine metropolis of Sölden, there was a violent incident on Friday night. A 26-year-old German came in a popular après-ski-loop in a group of around eight Dutch. This scene, which occurred at midnight, ended with brutal assault: one of the Dutch hit the German with a beer mug, which led to significant injuries. After first aid, the injured had to be brought to the nearby doctor's office in Obergurgl for further treatment, while the attacker submitted, as the Krone reported.
This incident is not the only one of this kind in Sölden. Recently, on Sunday evening, another German who tried to settle a dispute brutally with a beer mug. The 30-year-old decided to intervene in a conflict, but became a victim of violence and suffered cuts that required medical care. According to the perpetrator remains unknown in this case, but is described as about 1.85 meters and wore moto-cross-clothing.
Investigations run
The police have initiated investigations in both cases to clarify the background of these violent incidents. The attacker of the 26-year-old man has so far remained unidentified, just like the one who inflicted the cuts to the 30-year-old. References to the perpetrators can be sent to the Sölden police.
