A serious skiing accident occurred in the renowned Lech/Zürs ski area on December 30, 2024 at 1:10 p.m. Two female skiers collided at piste intersection 123#125, causing one of the women to fall to the ground and sustain serious injuries. The other person involved, the previously unknown woman, was wearing a striking pink ski suit, a black helmet and white ski goggles. Witnesses reported that she spoke broken English and was able to stop briefly after the collision and apologize before continuing her journey towards the Hexenbodenbahn valley station, according to Vorarlberg police.
The injured person received immediate medical attention, while the Klösterle police station is now calling on the unknown people involved in the accident and potential witnesses to call +43 (0) 59 133 8104. The investigation is focused on shedding light on the incident and clarifying the exact circumstances that led to this dangerous collision. Police hope further clues will help determine the identity of the fugitive skier, who quickly left the scene after the accident.
