A tragic incident occurred in Gilching when a 62-year-old driver hit a ten-year-old girl on Rathausstrasse on Friday morning. According to police, the student suddenly and unexpectedly crossed the road. Although the driver initiated emergency braking, she was unable to stop in time. The impact threw the girl several meters onto the sidewalk. It suffered a laceration to its head and was taken to a hospital for evaluation.
