Triggered by a controversial foul, a fight developed, which initially took place on the field and then also included spectators. Around 40 people, including players and spectators, were involved. The brawl escalated with kicks after insults and thrusts, with some spectators jumping from the stands.
The police were alerted and moved in after the situation had already calmed down. In total, several people had to be treated injured, including a 20-year-old who was taken to the hospital. Eight security folders who were on site could not end the argument, so that the police ultimately had to intervene. The tournament was demolished by the organizers, Turkspor Neckarsulm 1969 e.V.
Details of the incident
At this tournament, which was endowed with a prize money of 1,750 euros, the participants wanted to play for the Heilbronn children's aid organization "Great Aid for Little Heroes". In addition, the sponsor "prestige transports and assembly services" terminated the cooperation with the association. In a message, Turkspor expressed his horror about the incidents, emphasized that similar things had not occurred in the past 15 years. The police have investigated the incidents and asks people with further video recordings to report to the Bad Wimpfen police station on 07063/93340.
A similar incident occurred at a company soccer tournament in Weinsberg about a year ago, there were also two injuries. The tournaments were held exclusively by leisure teams without registered club membership, with a team from the Heilbronn area that competed against a leisure team from the Sinsheim area.
