Youth gangs in sight: shocking allegations in Vienna!

The Vienna public prosecutor's office is investigating a group of young people between the ages of 14 and 17 on serious allegations that include rape, blackmail and arson. According to information from crown Five of the seven accused are already in custody. The investigation is ongoing in the context of a case in which a young woman was allegedly raped and blackmailed several times. The public prosecutor's office has not yet commented in more detail on the background.

The alleged victim had consensual sexual intercourse with one of the suspects, of whom photos and videos were taken. These recordings are said to have been used to blackmail the woman into letting the young people into her apartment. There they threatened violence, consumed drugs and are said to have forced the woman into further sexual acts. The investigation shows parallels to an earlier case involving the so-called “Anton Gang,” reports Pulse24.

Investigations and allegations

In addition to the rape allegations, arson charges are also being investigated. This week it was revealed that the woman's apartment was allegedly set on fire while she was away from home. Police believe these crimes were committed by the same youths who have previously been linked to drug trafficking and violence. It is suspected that the group has a high potential for violence, as several suspects have already been criminally involved in the past.

The investigating authorities seized evidence during house searches, including cell phones, which are now being evaluated. Although many of the accused do not want to make statements, one teenager admitted to doing drug deals and taking photos of the woman's ATM card. However, the other allegations involving serious ill-treatment and threats were denied. The case remains highly complex and the investigation is ongoing.
