Youth gangs in Saarbrücken: multiple robberies shaken city!

Two young people were injured in Saarbrücken last Saturday when a series of raids in the city center took place. The incidents occurred between 4:30 p.m. and 6.10 p.m., with robberies took place in three cases. However, two of the raids remained in the test stage, but the two young people suffered minor injuries, such as rheinpfalz.de reported.

The perpetrators belonged to a youth gang and threatened the victims during the raids. Two 15-year-olds were persecuted, pressed on a wall and threatened with a knife. The attackers forced the young people to surrender cell phones and cash. According to initial investigations, it is assumed that it is the same group of perpetrators, which has been active since Christmas holidays.

Foundation of an investigation group

Due to the accumulation of robberies, the police launched the “Investigation Group Straße”. This measure is intended to help identify the perpetrators faster and prevent further incidents. Investigators describe the group of perpetrators as several young people with Arabic appearance, as well as blueichteport-saarland.de reported.

The perpetrators were described in detail: a suspected attacker is said to be 15 to 16 years old, about 170 cm tall and of strong stature, while another perpetrator should have a slim figure and a size of 175 to 180 cm. Both are said to be Mediterranean types and wore conspicuous clothing, such as gray vests and long coats. Nevertheless, the police are currently holding back with further statements so as not to endanger the investigation.
