In a shocking incident in Vienna-Favoriten on Thursday, a 22-year-old Afghan citizen slightly injured his wife and a companion with blows and threatened them with a knife. The argument broke out when the man, who had recently been released from prison, found his wife and the other man in their apartment. After the violent incident, the ex-prisoner initially left the apartment, but later returned with a crowbar to force his way in because he did not have a key and was not registered at the residence.
