Chaos in Regensburg train station: man shouts Heil Hitler” and travels without a ticket!

Regensburg is experiencing chaos at the main train station: In a sensational incident at the weekend and another scandalous event on Wednesday evening, there were several arrests and investigations by the federal police. A 33-year-old Eritrean man was discovered on Friday by police officers who were looking for him on an arrest warrant. But after paying a fine of over 540 euros, the man was released. On the very same day, in connection with a theft, an 18-year-old was seen enjoying a wrap at the supermarket without paying. A pocket knife was found on him, which is why he is now being investigated for theft with weapons Oberpfalz-Aktuell reports.

But the excitement in the station wasn't over yet. On Wednesday evening, a 67-year-old German-Kazakh loudly shouted “Heil Hitler” in the station hall. After the federal police were alerted, the man was quickly identified and arrested on the train. He did not have a valid ticket and is under police investigation for threatening offenses, such as mittelbayerische.de reports. Both incidents highlight the challenges facing emergency services at the station. While one man came to the attention of the police because of his behavior, another had to serve a prison sentence for multiple violations of the law.
