Brutal attack in Nortorf: 86-year-old injured with wine bottle!
An 86-year-old man was the victim of a brutal robbery on Sunday afternoon, January 5, 2025, in Nortorf (Rendsburg-Eckernförde district). The incident happened between 1 p.m. and 2 p.m. in his house on Am Schulwald Street when the senior citizen heard the doorbell ring and opened it.
The attack began when an armed man with a gun forced him into the house and asked him to sit on the sofa. The perpetrator was accompanied by a woman who was also involved in the attack. The pensioner was forced at gunpoint to hand over a mid-three-digit amount of money. Meanwhile, the woman searched the victim's closets and drawers for other valuables, but found nothing else of value.
Act of violence and neighborly help
After the perpetrators unsuccessfully searched for valuables, the man hit the senior citizen on the head with a full wine bottle, which caused an approximately 20 cm long laceration that bled profusely. With the help of an attentive neighbor, an ambulance was called and took the injured senior to the hospital.
The police in Rendsburg have started an investigation into aggravated robbery, but the search for the perpetrators has so far been unsuccessful. Investigators are asking witnesses or informants to call 94331-2080 or call 110 to provide further information about the incident. n-tv reported the incident while shz provided additional details about the time of the crime and the investigation.
