Brutal attack at the main train station: man attacked with hot water!
A brutal incident at Vienna's main train station shocked the public: a 34-year-old man, who had broken into a bakery despite an existing ban, attacked an employee in a vile manner. As the crown reported, police were called to the branch on January 9, 2025 at approximately 4:00 p.m. after the incident was reported.
The attacker, an Austrian citizen, poured hot water into the bakery employee's face and hit him. This happened when staff asked him to leave the bakery immediately. Security personnel at the train station were able to detain the perpetrator until the police arrived. The injured victim received initial medical treatment on the spot and was then taken to a hospital Vienna police confirmed. The perpetrator is now in police custody while investigations continue to establish the exact circumstances of the attack.
The police will take all necessary steps to fully investigate the incident and ensure security at the main station. The brutal attack shows once again how important it is to consistently enforce stay-at-home orders in order to avoid such dangerous situations.
