Brutal attacks: perpetrators from Linz in court – shocking details!
A shocking attack occurred at the train station in Steyr in the evening. Two young perpetrators, a 16-year-old and his 12-year-old accomplice, used a knife to force a 16-year-old girl to hand over cigarettes and cash. After the attack, the two fled and got on a train to Linz. However, thanks to a quick alert from the police and images from a surveillance camera, the suspected perpetrators were immediately identified at Linz main station ORF.at reported. When they arrived, a folding knife was found that was potentially in the hands of the perpetrators. The 16-year-old was arrested and taken to the Linz prison.
This event is in stark contrast to another incident at Linz Central Station, which was reported by Krone.at reports became. On April 12, 2024, three boys aged 14 and 15 were victims of extreme violence. The perpetrators lured their victims out of the train station area with the offer of a joint and then took them to a secluded park. There they were brutally beaten and humiliated. Particularly frightening: one of the boys was forced to kneel before the attackers severely abused him. This act of violence shocked even the experienced juvenile judge - she had never experienced such attacks in 30 years.
The defendants stated in court that they had thought of robbing the boys, which ultimately resulted in an “excess of violence.” The available surveillance images and confessions from the perpetrators led to short, harsh sentences: they received prison sentences of between ten and 15 months. One of the serious crimes was punished with an additional penalty for the younger defendant. This juvenile crime case shines a bright light on the problems facing school children today.
