A seemingly peaceful Tuesday evening in Schwarzenberg turned into a nightmare when a 14-year-old girl in the Erzgebirge was molested by a group of teenagers. The silence of the small bus station turned into a loud cacophony of unrest as rampant teenagers verbally harassed the girl. The girl's brave relative, a 38-year-old man, rushed to her aid and was seriously injured himself.

While the 14-year-old remained uninjured, the brave defender was taken to hospital. The police in Schwarzenberg are now faced with a challenge as there is no concrete information about the perpetrators. One of the few descriptions states that one of the young people was wearing a white winter jacket. The officers have started an investigation into dangerous bodily harm and are examining initial information. Witnesses who have made observations are urgently asked to report to the Aue police station.
