A 47-year-old companion of the victim was able to avoid the knife attack, but did not remain intact. For this, his 38-year-old friend received a stab wound that was near the chest and subsequently led to emergency surgery. Rescue workers provide immediate help on site. The police said that the victim was now out of danger. The suspect is known by name and the Vienna public prosecutor's office has issued an arrest.
