Hermann Gindl remains mayor of Hohenruppersdorf
In a surprising turn of the events, Hermann Gindl was once again elected mayor of Hohenruppersdorf by the ÖVP, although his party has lost mandates. At the constituent session, which he opened himself, Gindl 11 of the 15 votes was able to unite. Four voices went to Harald Zagler from the FPÖ, which exactly corresponds to the number of mandates of the freedoms in the municipal council, reports Noen.at .
Despite the loss of mandate and the unanimous election, Patricia Mayer was also confirmed as Vice Mayor. The smooth course of the session and the successful choice for Gindl show that the political landscape in Hohenruppersdorf remains stable, despite the current challenges for the ÖVP.
