A positive turnaround for the employees of Vöcklabrucker Metallgiesserei GmbH: just eleven days before Christmas, the subsidiary of KTM Components GmbH went bankrupt, but now there is hope! METTEC GUSS, a company with a long history in metal processing, becomes the new owner and thus secures around 50 jobs. “The continued preservation of jobs is of enormous importance for the region,” announces Karin Kirchschlager, who will take over management from March 1st and already manages METTEC GUSS in Wels.
The insolvency was a shock for the workforce, especially after threatening information emerged about the closure of various areas by the liquidator Christoph Doppelbauer.
