Wiener Kunst Festival is looking for creative minds for new management from 2026!

Laimgrubengasse 10, 1060 Wien, Österreich - in Vienna is an exciting turn for the renowned art and cultural festival Vienna Week. The organizer announced the tender for artistic management from 2026, which marked an important step for the future of the festival. This year's Wienwoche will take place from September 12 to 21, 2025 under the motto "Breathe Again". The new artistic management will be sought until March 23, 2025, whereby applicants should bring an expertise in festival concept, performance and art, as from OTS reported.

The festival has established itself as a (post) migrant and queer feminist event since its foundation in 2012 that combines art and activism. An essential part of the Wienwoche is the right to security and respect. The festival undertakes to create a space that is free of any form of harassment and specified excluded groups, such as in the behavioral guideline . Those responsible emphasize that racism, sexism and any form of discrimination are unacceptable.

The Wienwoche would like to guarantee a safe environment for all visitors due to compliance with high standards and a clear code of conduct, which is of great importance in view of the diverse participants and actors. Applicants for the new management should also present a creative concept for the coming years in order to further develop the festival identity and set new impulses. The discussions with the selected applicants begin in the first week of April 2025, and the new team will be incorporated into the festival from summer 2025.
