In the heart of the Kamptal, where nature and viticulture combine a long tradition, lies the renowned Jurtschitsch winery. Here, the Riesling vines, which are over 60 years old, grow on an impressive foundation of 270 million year old Permian rock. This historic rock from the Zöbinger Heiligenstein offers the perfect breeding ground for the grapes.
The grapes are painstakingly harvested by hand and further processed in the historic natural cellar, which has been in the family for 700 years. The aging takes place in large wooden barrels, which gives the wine a unique character. The small-berry grapes are selected primarily from the oldest stocks in this special location, which are particularly complex and intense due to their low yield and deep roots in the barren rock.

The finished Riesling from the old vines is not only a pleasure, but also a wine with history. It has an elegant structure and an exciting, dense aroma that impressively reflects both the vintage and the location. This taste experience makes it ideal for storage and goes well with a variety of dishes, including exotic dishes, seafood or poultry.
