In the heart of the Kamptal, where nature and viticulture combine a long tradition, the renowned winery is located. Here the over 60 year old Riesling vines grow on an impressive foundation from 270 million years old permers. This historical rock of the Zöbinger Heiligenstein offers the perfect breeding ground for the grapes.

The grapes are painstakingly read and processed in the historic natural cellar, which has been in family owning for 700 years. The expansion takes place in large wooden barrels, which gives the wine a unique character. Especially from the oldest stocks of this special location, the small berry grapes are selected, which are particularly complex and intense due to their low yield and deep rooting in the barren rock.

The peculiarity of the Riesling

The finished Riesling from the old vines is not only a pleasure, but also a wine with history. It has an elegant structure and an exciting, close -knit aroma, which reflects both the vintage and the location in an impressive way. This taste experience makes it ideal for storage and harmonizes excellently with a variety of dishes, including exotic dishes, seafood or poultry.
