After a knife attack in Vienna-Meidling: Suspects now identified

A violent clash broke out between rival groups in Vienna-Meidling, culminating in an incident on July 7th. Several people were attacked with dangerous weapons, resulting in serious injuries. Since Monday, the Vienna police have published revealing photographic materials of seven suspects who are connected to these violent riots.

The state police headquarters reported on Thursday that all wanted people, all between the ages of 15 and 18, have now been identified. Two of the suspects were identified thanks to tips received. The remaining five turned themselves in to the police after the pictures were made public. These developments have advanced the investigation as all those involved are now clearly named and identified.
