Viennese entrepreneur is in police control - 360 euros punishment for mishaps
An incident in Vienna has caused excitement and high costs. A 34-year-old entrepreneur who was traveling with his e-scooter got into a police check on university road. This check led to the owner of unpleasant fines, which resulted in a total of 360 euros. The entrepreneur described the situation as challenging, especially in view of the numerous construction sites in the area that are connected to the subway work on lines U2 and U5. "There are 100 construction sites here, nobody knows," he told the newspaper "Today".
The trouble started after entering one of the construction sites. The first penalty of 60 euros was followed by the vehicle with the blue lights on the blue light switched on, which was imposed on him by four police officers. The entrepreneur saw this punishment as exaggerated and expressed that a simple warning discussion would have been enough because it was a misfortune. In order to clarify the matter quickly, he immediately paid the amount in cash.
The conflict escalates
After the police ended their service, the entrepreneur continued his journey. However, there was another confrontation. The officials accused him of walking across the street at red when he entered the street as a pedestrian. Then the Viennese reacted angrily and called to the officials: "It is not red, yours are ridiculous!" Unfortunately, this led to even more serious consequences: he received an advertisement for public decency injury, which earned him an additional fine of 300 euros.
Despite his massive doubts about the appropriateness of the punishment, the 34-year-old decided to pay the total amount from the two punishments, even though he showed no regrets about his words. His opinion about the police approach remained unshakable: "It was absolutely ridiculous," he said in conversation.
