Toeller erhebt schwere Vorwürfe gegen Benko: Schulden und Betrug?!
Wien, Österreich - The investor Torsten Toeller raises serious allegations against René Benko, the founder of Signa Holding. Toeller, known for his company Fressnapf, accuses Benko of having hidden debts and having deceived investors. The alarm bells had already been tackled at TOELLER in May 2022 when a promised dividend for 2021 was not paid. In a meeting in Vienna in December 2022, it became clear that Benko "no longer had the matter under control" and gave the impression that "as if René was denied reality", like Derstandard.at reported.
Benko denies all these allegations, but trust is shaken. The conflict culminated in May 2023 when Benko again asked for capital from his investors. TOELLER got out of Signa Holding on October 9, 2023 and has been waiting for the repayment of around 4.5 percent since then. Benko is currently in custody in Vienna, while the legal and financial turbulence continues to continue.
