Babenbergerhalle, Klosterneuburg, Österreich - On November 29, 2024, a real rush to the 6th Klosterneuburg educational fair took place in the Babenbergerhalle. Over 700 students and parents flocked to the more than 50 exhibitors from Klosterneuburg and the surrounding area, which presented a wide range of educational offers. These ranged from crawling rooms and kindergartens to elementary schools, middle schools, to specialized facilities such as the special educational center and various high schools, including the HBLA for wine and fruit growing. The numerous stands also offered the visitors informative insights into learning aid institutions, the music school, the VHS Urania Klosterneuburg as well as commercial academies, HTLS and universities of applied sciences from Vienna and Lower Austria, such as meinzirk.at reported.
practical insights for students
A highlight of the fair was an action in cooperation with the Klosterneuburg Chamber of Commerce, in which students were able to simulate real job interviews. This gave the young people the opportunity to test their skills directly in a professional context. Vice Mayor Maria Theresia Eder was optimistic at the trade fair: "Especially in challenging times, we have to pay particular attention to the training of our children. The enthusiasm of the students at our educational fair shows that we are on the right track!" The next opportunity to find out more about educational offers will take place in autumn 2026, according to Noen.at .
