The annual Wings for Life Run is taking place in Vienna today. As vienna.at reports, the event will involve a series of roadblocks on May 2, 2025 between 9:45 a.m. and 4:15 p.m. Drivers have to be prepared for various restrictions, especially in the area of the ring and the inner city.
The main closing times include the ring between Operngasse and Schottengasse from 9:45 a.m. to 4:15 p.m. In addition, the Linke Wienzeile between Getreidemarkt and Belt as well as the Inner Belt between Linke Wienzeile and Mariahilfer Straße are also affected from 12.25 p.m. to 2.45 p.m. The exits from the center on the Südost-Tangente (A23) and the Ost-Autobahn (A4) are closed between 1:00 p.m. and 3:30 p.m.
