Waffenruhe between Israel and Hamas: Negotiations take up speed!

Gaza, Palästinensische Autonomiegebiete - The conversations between the radical Islamic Hamas and Israel take off: as krone.at , the negotiations on the second phase of the ceasefire began in conflict with the Gaza Strip. However, these are not managed directly between the parties involved, but through mediators such as the USA, Qatar and Egypt. Hamas spokesman Adel Latif al-Kanu announced that the talks are currently concentrating on emergency shelters, help and reconstruction in Gaza.

The first phase of the agreement that came into force on January 19 is already going. As part of this agreement, a total of 33 hostages are to be released, while in return, 1900 Palestinians are released from Israeli prisons. So far, 18 hostages have been released, while Hamas has now announced that eight of the 33 hostages were dead. The end of the ongoing conflict is also discussed by the negotiators.
