Change in the board of directors at Signa Prime: Teufelsdorfer is leaving in May 2025!

A new wind is blowing at Signa Prime Selection: CEO Herwig Teufelsdorfer will leave the company at the end of May 2025. This decision was made by mutual consent, as the liquidator Norbert Abel announced on Wednesday evening. The insolvency procedure that was previously in force was replaced by bankruptcy proceedings on October 31, 2024. This change has resulted in Teufelsdorfer's areas of responsibility being significantly reduced. He has been at Signa Prime since April 2024, where he previously gained experience as a board member at s Immo and BUWOG Group.

Changes in the board of directors

At the next Supervisory Board meeting, the committee will decide whether a successor to Teufelsdorfer will be appointed. However, the supervisory board does not only consist of him: Klaus Wandl, who was appointed to the board in June 2024, will remain on board. During his time at Signa Prime, Teufelsdorfer held the reins as the company navigated through turbulent times. However, the transformation of the process greatly changed his role, which ultimately led to his departure, as well the small newspaper reported.

The upcoming vacancy on the board raises questions. How will Signa Prime manage this exit? The coming decisions could be decisive in determining the direction in which the company will develop. The uncertainties surrounding corporate management are now in focus while those responsible are on the hunt for a suitable successor for Teufelsdorfer. We could see exciting developments in the next few weeks, especially as a result of the upcoming Supervisory Board decisions.
