Vorarlberg victory: Meusburger and Comper master Dolomite-Sky marathon!

Andrea Meusburger-Kaufmann and Hugo Comper from Vorarlberg successfully completed the Rosengarten Schlern Sky Marathon in the Dolomites on July 15, 2025. The event, which took place in the heart of the Dolomites, in Tiers, Italy, is one of the most challenging trailla runs in Europe. The marathon includes an impressive distance of 45 kilometers with a height difference of 3,000 meters, whereby the runners are challenged via Rugged and Technical Terrain.

Both participants mastered the demanding route, which includes 2,980 meters ascent and 3,083 meters of descent. Hugo Comper took 7 hours and 50 minutes for the marathon, while Andrea Meusburger merchant came to the finish after 8 hours and 20 minutes. Comper took third place in his age group (M4) and received five kilos of South Tyrolean bacon as a reward. Meusburger-Kaufmann completed the race in sixth place in her age group (W2), but missed the podium.

The Rosengarten Schlern Sky Marathon begins in Tiers-St. Cyprian at approx. 1,100 m.ü.M.
