Heating grants 2024/25: New grants in Carinthia, Upper Austria and Vorarlberg
In the coming months, households in Austria will be interested in the house. New heating grants will be available from October 1, 2024. These help vary depending on the state and range from 110 to 200 euros per budget. In addition, further support of up to 330 euros is planned. Carinthia starts with a heating allowance of 110 to 180 euros per household, depending on the household income. A main residence in Carinthia is a prerequisite for the application that can be placed online on the country's website. The income limits for the grant are between 1,510 and 2,080 euros net per month for one and two-person households.
In Upper Austria, a heating allowance of 200 euros per budget is paid out. The application deadline ends on November 30, 2024, and the income limits are 19,070 euros gross for one-person households and 26,940 euros for multi-person households.
Vorarlberg plans to introduce a grant of 330 euros from mid -October. Further details on the claim requirements and the application procedure are published in due course.
