Tyrolit opens modern training workshop: securing the future in Schwaz
The manufacturer of abrasives, Tyrolit, has ceremoniously opened its new training workshop in Schwaz. With an area of 400 square meters and a state-of-the-art training area, the future is being created here. This facility aims to train young talents in the areas of metal, electrical and process engineering and to promote the skilled workers of tomorrow. CEO Thomas Frieß emphasized the importance of this investment: "For us, the investment in the training workshop is an investment in the future. It is crucial that we pass on our specialist knowledge and promote young talent at an early stage."
The new training workshop offers space for 27 of the company's 42 apprentices. The specially designed 100 square meter training and automation area allows trainees to train under realistic conditions. This means that they work with the most modern machines and innovative automation technologies and are prepared for the challenges of the industry right from the start.
Specialist training in Tyrol
Tyrolit has therefore set a clear focus on promoting young talent. The special equipment in the training workshop meets the highest standards of modern training technology. Apprenticeship coordinator David Narr from WK Tirol emphasized how important such investments are in times of a shortage of skilled workers: “Tyrolit makes a significant contribution to securing know-how at the location.” The practical training in key technologies gives future specialists a valuable foundation for their professional careers.
The reactions from politicians also show a positive response to the opening of the new training workshop. Schwaz's mayor Victoria Weber explained that Tyrolit is not only a significant employer, but also plays a pioneering role in the training of skilled workers. “The expanded training workshop is a clear commitment to the headquarters in Schwaz and sustainably strengthens our region,” she said. Karl-Josef Schubert, the mayor of Vomp, where the training workshop is located, also noted the importance of this initiative in order to keep young people in the region and offer them attractive prospects.
These developments are a sign of Tyrolit's strength and commitment to ensuring a qualified future and result from the conviction that well-trained specialists are crucial to the success of a company. The modernly designed training workshop not only represents an enrichment for the apprentices, but also a commitment by the company to assume responsibility for the coming generation.
