Festive lights and music: Christmas in Vorarlberg 2024!
In Vorarlberg, the Christmas season 2024 will be celebrated with festivities the ORF Vorarlberg reported. From December 19th, people can pick up the ORF Peace Light at the ORF State Broadcasting Center in Dornbirn. At 5:00 p.m. it will be ceremoniously received by representatives of all religious communities, the ÖBB, boy scouts and the fire department. Everyone is invited to bring this light home and share the anticipation of the upcoming celebration.
Festive TV programs and fundraisers
The atmospheric time is accompanied by numerous “LIGHT IN THE DUNKEL” programs on ORF 2 V, which will be broadcast on December 23rd and 24th. Here the moderators Kerstin Polzer and David Breznik present a gala in which major donors from Vorarlberg's economy present their donations. This year, these payments support the Jupident Foundation, which supports children and young people with special needs. The television programs promise not only contemplative conversations, but also musical contributions from talented artists from the region.
There will also be a festive program on the radio. Ulli von Delft will present a touching “LIGHT IN THE DARK” program on December 24th, in which Christmas stories will be told and musical highlights will be presented. The Christmas mass will be broadcast live at 11:45 p.m., followed by two services on Christmas Day. The entire family is invited to get in the mood for the contemplative celebration.
