A dramatic event occurred on Saturday afternoon in the municipality of Sankt Gerold in Großwalsertal when a homeowner wanted to preheat his new sauna using an app. What began as a harmless project ended in a devastating house fire. Due to a technical defect in the sauna, the temperature rose uncontrollably, which ultimately led to the sauna bursting into flames.
