New OSG residential complex in Virgen inaugurated

in Virgen was celebrated on Thursday, October 10th, the ceremonial inauguration of the 14th OSG residential complex. The new rental apartments already had their handover in June 2024 after the construction work started in August 2022.

The residential complex extends over a plot of 753 square meters and offers space for six apartments that vary between 72 and 92 square meters. The planning was realized by the Virger architect Di Anton Mariacher, who emphasized a high level of equipment and compliance with the state's funding guidelines in order to create affordable living space. In addition to the living rooms, covered parking spaces, visitor parking spaces, a bicycle room, a garbage room and outdoor areas with balconies, terraces and private gardens are also available.

The construction costs were around 1.39 million euros. This sum was covered by various funding from the state of Tyrol and a bank loan from the Lienzer Sparkasse, financing contributions from the tenants and own funds of the OSG.

Numerous personalities were present at the inauguration ceremony, including Mayor Ing. Dietmar Ruggenthaler, municipal board member Leopold Bstieler and representative of the engineering office and the Lienzer Sparkasse. Pastor Mag. Siegmund Bichler took over the blessing of the residential complex and the individual apartments. The Virgen music band provided the musical accompaniment of the evening. Then the celebration ended with a small drink directly in front of the residential complex and then with a good meal in the "Schwoaga" inn.

The OSG residential complex is an important project in the area of social residential construction and offers new living space for the municipality of Virgen. The apartment owners can look forward to high -quality equipment and a pleasant living atmosphere, which was created by this new building.
