On November 19, the teams of HAK-Lienz in Innsbruck competed against some of the best floorball teams in Tyrol. The HAK-Kings, led by Captain Felix Neumayer from class 4c, had an ambitious goal: to push the long-time defending champion of HTL Innsbruck from the winner's podium. The boys' teams of HAK-Lienz had participated in the championship for over a decade and had already landed just behind the HTL players.
In the past, the HTL was considered unbeatable because of its strong players, many of them members of the Floorball team "Hot Shots". This year, a total of eight teams registered for the championship, which increased the competition. The HAK-Kings were well prepared and full of energy for the upcoming games.an exciting duel
The opening round immediately brought exciting encounters, including the excited encouragement with the HTL cracks. In this gripping game, the HAK-Kings quickly played out a lead of 3: 0. But the challenge remained high, because the HTL Innsbruck did not give up and reduced to 3: 2. Despite the pressure, HAK-KING managed to expand their lead to 4: 2. But the HTL remained dangerous and opened again to 4: 3. The nerves were excited until the last second, but when the siren sounded, it was clear: the HAK-Kings had proven that they had the championship under control.
With this decisive victory, they not only prevailed against the HTL, but also maintained their impressive record of four games won without defeat. The title "State Champion in Floorball" goes to East Tyrol for the first time, and the HAK-Kings were crowned for the new floorball kings in Tyrol.

The success of the HAK-Kings was accompanied by further pleasant achievements by the HAK teams. The second team, the "HAK kings", completed the tournament in a respectable fourth place. In addition, the “20 × 6” team, led by captain Fenja Wibmer from class 3b, was able to reach third place. These successes were enthusiastically welcomed by sports teacher Josef Dullnig and HAK director Josef Pretis.
The national championship in Floorball was not only a big step in their sporting career for the HAK-Kings, but also an important moment for the entire region of East Tyrol, which can now proudly look at their talented athletes. It remains to be seen how the HAK-Kings will be in future competitions, but their determination and teamwork give rise to hope for further success.
