Festive sounds: Advent concert of the Chamber Choir Vokalissimo in Lienz

The pre -Christmas period brings a special anticipation, and what could be better than a musical evening to immerse yourself in the festive mood? In Lienz, visitors can expect an impressive Advent concert, which takes place on Saturday, December 14th, at 7pm in the church Holy Family

The concert is organized by the Vokalissimo Lienz chamber choir, whereby the main work of the evening will be the oratorio de noël of the French composer Camille Saint-Saëns. Interestingly, the then 23-year-old composed this impressive work in a short time for an upcoming Christmas concert. Despite the time pressure, the oratorio is a terrific example of French composition art and is listed by five soloists, a choir and an orchestra.
